I've developed a great interest in segmented turnings.
These are designed and created using many pieces of contrasting types,
colors and
sizes of wood - allowing the craftsman a great amount of expressive freedom
and the opportunity to use exotic species often available only in limited
sizes. Additionally, space can be left between the segments of a ring
to produce an open effect.
These are offered on a "one-of-a-kind" basis due to the difficulty of
creating exact duplicates, however, similar designs can be done on a
commission basis if interested. If you would like to discuss any of these
